do you do in home tutoring?
No. All of our services are face to face at our office in Dunedin, Florida.
How soon can my child receive assistance?
On their first appointment. We do on-time tutoring which means we begin tutoring immediately, for whatever areas of instruction your child needs.
Can i wait for my child inside the office?
That's a great question! We have a drop and go policy. If you need to speak with your child's tutor, or have information to share, like homework, or test scores, we are happy to chat with you prior to the session.
can i get a session on the same day?
Yes and no. Typically, we need a one day lead time on appointments, but if your child is desperate for that math review for the big test tomorrow, send us a message on Facebook, an email, or call the office and leave a message. We will do our best to get you in if we have someone available.
what is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds but will reschedule your appointment on the same day with a $15 fee. You can reschedule yourself 24 hours prior to the schedule appointment. If you are having trouble using the booking app, just let us know, and we are happy to help.
What does it cost?
All of our prices are listed on our booking page and vary by type of tutoring session booked. If you're not sure, just send us an email or call the office, or message us on Facebook and we will help you determine what will work best.
Do you require testing prior to tutoring?
No! We know your child needs help now, so we want to get started right away. We are happy to review testing data you have, from the school or other providers, to help guide future sessions.
Am I committed to multiple sessions?
No. Just book appointments as you need them or we will help schedule you out in advance to secure a regular schedule. Booking far in advance requires prepayment or a subscription (found on our booking page).
WHAT IS SUCCESS TUTORING?
Success Tutoring is specialized instruction for your student who is struggling to maintain Cs in their academic classes, high school students at risk of not graduating on time or middle grades students who are at risk of retention. We work on all subjects focusing on those courses with the greatest need. Sessions include review of all grades, tracking assignments, studying for tests/quizzes, organization, behavior strategies, and homework support. In most cases, we get a release of information with the school to contact teachers and guidance to further identify ways to ensure success. Two sessions/week are recommended to start with the goal of an independent learner.
